We did it! Thanks to all of our collective efforts, including tremendous public support, SB 8 passed in the third special Texas legislative session and contains $180 million for hospitality and tourism recovery grants.

Your Texas LEC board is so proud of what we accomplished together, with our Hospitality and Tourism Coalition partners, in spite of the odds! Your Action Alert messages to legislators, combined with all the phone calls, advocacy, outreach and public testimony in front of the house and senate committees by our TxLEC board members, accomplished something remarkable!

Once the Governor signs the legislation, our Coalition will begin working with our partners and the Texas Governor's Office of Economic Development & Tourism to finalize the grant program.
